Since Darren went freelance this year and Ben started getting involved more with custom widgets and theme frameworks, it seemed like a good time to reevaluate what we wanted for Pro Theme. More free time and new ideas cooking meant it was time to rebrand a little bit.
So…we’re proud to announce that Pro Theme Design has relaunched with a new look and improved documentation! That includes screencasts and FAQs, plus a new Elemental child theme called The Local. We also have plans for a few more themes and goodies we hope to launch before Christmas, so stay tuned.

Are there any plans to update mimbo pro with some of these new achievments made in elemental and the locale development? Would be most appreciated
some of the Elemental features have already been copied over to Mimbo Pro. Not sure how many of the other features will be moved but we may pick some of the more popular ones and shift them over too. We haven’t really discussed it so far but I won’t say no

As i bought both themes: Maybe i could just copy over some elementals widget files to have them in mimbo?

Can the ‘Local’ theme be purchased on its own or would I need to buy both ‘Local’ and ‘Elemental’ just to use ‘Local’ on my site? If so, that means it costs me $140… ouch!
Hi Joe – thanks for the message. Elemental comes bundled with the Local so you will only need to purchase the one theme, and you will have everything you need ready and waiting

If Elemental comes with Local then why would anyone buy Local at $80 instead of Elemental for $60? Or did you mean that Local comes with Elemental? That would make more sense.
I’m not sure I understand the difference between ‘Elemental comes with The Local’ and ‘The Local comes with Elemental’? Basically when you buy The Local package you get the Elemental theme and The Local child theme all as a single package. Does that make more sense?
